Aiden Plourde

Clinical Intern serving
clients in Washington State

I support individuals and couples who are struggling with anxiety, communication challenges, and recurring conflict.

Whether you are feeling stuck in your own head or in the same conversation with your partner, I help you build the skills and clarity needed to move forward.

I love this work because I know what it's like to have your life turned upside down and not know how to move forward. Therapy gave me the space, clarity, and tools to rebuild myself, and that experience never left me. My goal is to help each of my clients leave therapy with clarity, presence, and the skills to navigate life on their own, and I take great joy in that!

The clients I work with often feel:

  • Their mind is constantly scanning for "what could go wrong."

  • They cannot trust themselves to handle the challenges that come their way.

  • They are lost or unsure about their purpose.

  • Emotional expression is uncomfortable, and it's better to avoid the hard conversations.

  • Misunderstood and unheard by their partner, and stuck in the same patterns.

  • They should feel good about life, but don't.

What It's Like To Work With Me

Working with me is collaborative, honest, and focused on real change. I'm not here to just listen; I'm here to help you understand what is going on, develop the right skills, and move forward with clarity and confidence.

We will create a space where you can be fully yourself. You won't have to filter or perform here. I'm nonjudgmental, steady, and open to what you bring to each session. I will help you step into honesty and change.

Each session will provide clear, practical direction. We won't stay stuck talking in circles. Together, we will get to the root of what is happening so you can have the tools and direction on how to create the life you desire.

I believe in coming prepared to sessions and having a plan we can engage with, as well as flexibility. If something important comes up, we follow it. If you come in struggling with where to begin, I will guide you to the next step to meet the goals you came in with.

I care about the people I work with, and I show it. I pay attention to the details, remember what matters to you, and stay engaged in your growth. This work is much more than providing a service to the community; it is a deeply rooted passion, and I take it seriously.

Our work together will come back to two things: helping you feel more grounded in the present and more confident in your ability to handle whatever comes next. When these two pieces come together, your life becomes easier to navigate.

I will show up as a real person every session. I'll be honest with you, challenge you when needed, and support you through the process. The goal is more than just insight; it is lasting changing in how you think, act, and show up in your life and relationships.

Why I Do This Work

I do this work because I believe people are more capable than they think. They just need the right support, clarity, and tools to see it.

I have experienced firsthand how anxiety, uncertainty, and loss of direction can take over your life. I also know what it's like to come out the other side with more confidence, presence, and control than you thought possible.

Now, I get to help others to do the same, whether that's learning to manage anxiety, communicate more effectively, or feel more grounded in who they are. Being part of that process is what makes this work meaningful to me.

My own therapy journey helped me rebuild my life with more clarity, confidence, and intention. I feel so grateful to be able to help others do the same so they can feel more present, more capable, and more in control of where there life is going.

If You're Ready to Move Forward

Therapy doesn't have to be a place where you stay stuck talking about the same problems. It can be the place where things finally start to make sense, where you build confidence, gain clarity, and start living differently.

If you're ready for that, I would be glad to work with you!
