Dionne Miller
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Associate serving Couples in Washington State
Dionne specializes in couples experiencing transitions, whether becoming engaged and married, welcoming parenthood, caring for your children and aging parents, and the empty nester/retirement stage of life.
Life is a series of transitions that brings us our greatest joys and our biggest challenges. It is in these transitions that so often we face obstacles within ourselves and in our relationships.

I believe in meeting you where you are in your relationship. Whether you are experiencing relationship changes or challenges, we will navigate them together as a team.

I believe in providing you and your partner with a safe space to grow and heal your relationship as we explore your commitment and trust in each other.

I will do my best to understand your joys and your challenges. I understand so many of these challenges having my own lived experience.
Outside of therapy:
I love animals, gardening, cooking (sometimes), and home improvement projects.

Becoming a Couples Therapist
On some level, I have wanted to be a couples therapist, but it was never the right time. After a couple of different careers in both the corporate world and the healing arts, raising two children, and taking care of an elderly family member it was finally my time to pursue my dream career.

In early 2021, I began one of my greatest adventures. I attended Touro University Worldwide (TUW), and I received my master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (graduating Summa Cum Laude) in February of 2023. While at TUW, I was fortunate to do my practicum at a community mental health site that allowed me to work with diverse populations with a wide variety of needs. More so, my practicum validated my love of working with couples.

Since gaining my associate license I have had the honor and privilege of working with a wide variety of individuals and couples with unique mental health and relational needs in private practice settings. I work from a collaborative, strengths-based approach; assisting and supporting my clients to be the author of their own lives.
On a personal note, I have been married for almost 30 years. Our lives together have been a series of transitions full of joys and challenges. My husband and I have two adult children who have flown the nest. I love animals, gardening, cooking (sometimes), and home improvement projects.

I love the work that I do and am truly passionate about helping my clients become the best versions of themselves as individuals and as a couple. I would love to hear your story and be a part of your journey.
